A board-certified emergency physician, Dr. Zachary Lutsky draws upon more than a decade of experience in his current position. Most recently, he served as an attending physician in the emergency department of Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. In this role, Dr. Zachary Lutsky worked in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center treating injured patients, heart attack victims, mothers giving birth, among others.
Dr. Zachary Lutsky earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania before going on to complete his MD at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. An accomplished student, Dr. Lutsky graduated first in his medical school class and received the alumni award. He completed his postgraduate training with an internship and residency in emergency medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California.
Prior to his work at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Lutsky held emergency department positions, such as attending physician at Santa Monica/UCLA Medical Center and staff physician at Kaiser West Los Angeles. An active member of the field, he holds membership in professional groups, such as the American Board of Emergency Physicians.
