At USC, I co-founded Corpus Callosum to build a collaborative space between the arts, the sciences, and technology. Bringing together students from many disciplines, with a diversity of skill sets, we used this multi-disciplinary design thinking to create interactive art installations on a semesterly basis. Each project illuminated something about the common and nature of our being.
As Communications Director, I gathered interest and support for our organization and helped build the community from the ground up. In one year, we grew from 6 to ~50 active team members, worked on nine unique projects, had two successful showcase events, and collaborated with other like-minded organizations such as LACMA and Design for America for larger events. I also led project teams in both the fall and spring semesters, guiding students' creative vision to fruition. The organization is still running today, stronger than ever.
I also participated in USC's student radio station. I had four unique shows, three of my own and one in collaboration with another DJ. I enjoy developing the thematic, visual, and musical concepts for the shows, as well as having the opportunity to publicly share ideas through media. Involves a lot of content research, on-the-spot thinking, and consistently fresh creative output. I have also participated in fundraising, artist interviews, and new DJ training.
