ABOUT THE ROLE
Kyra & Vir is now accepting applications for talented Administrative Interns to work on our Summer 2018 season. Interns will deploy Kyra & Vir’s will be at the center of operations and learn the ins and outs of running and facilitating a start up business. Their work will support a range of initiatives, working directly with the CEO. Must be a highly dependable self-starter with strong attention to detail. Interns will work with Kyra & Vir’s in-house marketing, operations, orders, and sales teams. The internship will provide hands-on experience as well as exposure to the inner-workings of a global fashion startup.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Design a variety of marketing assets, such as posters, print ads, brochures, collateral, direct mail, digital assets, and signage. • Assist CEO in all administrative tasks as projects become relevant. • Assisting multiple teams with varying tasks and project management. • Flawlessly manage multiple schedules and meetings, learning how to manage a startup office. • Partner with external vendors to assist in creating collateral, as needed. • Attend internal and external meetings, as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Suite • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Ability to learn and wear multiple hats as this is a startup environment • Self-starter who is able to complete work with limited oversight • Must be pursuing a degree in business or a closely related field • Knowledge of, or strong interest in, the realms of fashion, Indian culture, civic engagement, and social responsibility. • Must commit to a 15 hour/week schedule for a minimum of 3 months. • Must be able to begin Internship in May or June
