Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this successful person has a naturally outgoing personality who loves to value sell and has a talent for nurturing customer and partner relationships. You are the type of individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you are developing and executing on deals, working as a team player, and collaborating cross functionally with every department of the organization.

  • Grow new client relationships by analyzing, building, and managing a sales pipeline; ultimately you’ll be responsible for closing clients
  • Deliver above-and-beyond client experience though phone, email, and in-person communication
  • Articulate the Betts value proposition to decision makers to create and assess interest; think creatively about how we can optimize each client’s experience and enhance their ability to hire the candidates they need to build and scale their organizations
  • Expect the unexpected - you’ll adapt quickly and solve problems for clients anytime things don’t go as planned
  • Set up appointments with C-Level Executives and Hiring Managers
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospect to close; drive revenue growth through outreach via phone and email
  • Business forecasting
  • Cultivate and qualify new inbound leads that turn into quality opportunities
  • Research prospects to help us identify companies that should be using Betts Services
  • Prospect and pipeline building with opportunity identification
  • Manage nurture campaigns to keep leads warm
  • Attend networking events
  • Match client urgency with a fast-paced mentality
  • Meet and exceed Quota commitments


  • 2-5 years of experience and track record of success in business development, sales, or recruiting, startup or tech experience preferred
  • BS or equivalent 4-year degree
  • Self-starter who actively pursues new avenues to drive business and nurtures existing relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish deep, genuine, relationships
  • Proven track record of forecasting and meeting and exceeding quota expectations
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Cold calling experience
  • Experience using Salesforce.com preferred
