Hours: The store is open Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 – 5:30 and is closed Sunday and Monday. The position runs 8:30am-5:30pm, Tue.-Sat. (done by about 3/4pm on Saturdays).

Position Overview: Provide general support to the retail sales team of our nationally recognized inflatable boat sales center, interacting in person and by phone with our well-established customer base. Duties including shipping logistics; tracking customer orders and deliveries in the point-of-sales system; answering phones and directing customer calls with a high level of positive professionalism; running store errands; repair work; and other duties as required. Objective is to grow with and become a full-functioning member of the sales team.

Essential Job Functions: • Answering store phones to route customer calls to the sales team or take detailed messages. • Proficiently and securely package equipment and parts to ship; assisting with inflatable repairs. • Maintain a clean and professional work area; follow all company policies and procedures. • Learn the business point-of-sale system, used for sales, service, parts & accounting. • Periodically running errands to support the store operations. • Other duties as assigned by management with an eye towards growing with the sales team.

Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver license. • Proven stable work history and on-time dependability, come rain or shine! • Experience with shipping duties. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. • Communication skills: Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates. Must have good phone etiquette. • Very outgoing and able to effectively connect with all types of personalities. • Self-Starter, who is able to effectively see opportunities or issues and address these matters. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers. • Experienced with Outlook for emailing; performing data entry in Excel; and using Adobe Acrobat. • Preference for experience with Lightspeed POS system.
