The Head of Talent Acquisition (East) role is an important position in our organization as we position ourselves for our next phase of dynamic growth. This role is critical to the company and requires someone with a solid foundation and understanding in internal recruitment, with the ability to work at all levels: strategic, operational, and tactical.

We are looking for a solutions-based recruiter with the ability to analyze data and provide effective strategies. Ultimately, you will help us build a strong employer brand and ensure we provide a positive candidate experience.

• BS or BA degree or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of recruiting, start up experience highly preferred
• Source and qualify internal candidates for roles in NYC, Austin, & Chicago
• Proficient in Salesforce
• Work closely with VP of People and VP of Sales to forecast hiring data priorities
• Identify and work with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs
• Forecast placements monthly, quarterly and annually
• Source candidates through online channels and professional or personal network
• Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
• Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
• Report to hiring managers and HR managers on the status of open positions
• Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance
• Determine qualification criteria for each position
• Analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs
• Update job descriptions (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements)
• Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter, Agency Recruiter or similar role
• Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
• Experience using various interview formats
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
