As an early engineer, you'll share responsibility for the full stack of development at DocStation. Your vision will contribute to our architecture and product design. You'll be responsible for helping set up core practices, from operational tasks like logging, monitoring and alerting to how we collaborate as a team with pull-requests and code management.
You will do phenomenal in this role if you have:
- Experience designing, building and maintaining services at scale (Node experience optimal)
- Experience on monitoring and creating processes for high availability services
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Experience leveraging continuous integration technologies
- Integrity, respect for others, modesty, passion
It's a plus if you also have:
- Experience with React/JavaScript and the ability to debug client-side code.
- HIPAA or other security experience
What we do:
Most people are fortunate enough to be fairly healthy and don't have to see their pharmacist often. Unfortunately, there's many people out there with multiple chronic conditions who are taking 10-20 medications. As you can imagine, that's really hard for them to manage on their own! At DocStation, we're building tools to enable pharmacists to take a more proactive approach with these patients, helping them to spot medication issues early which lead to less emergency room visits and better outcomes for the patients.
