-- Marketing Manager Summary: In March 2017, Don Tapscott and Alex Tapscott launched the Blockchain Research Institute (BRI). We held our global launch for the institute at the recent DC Blockchain Summit.

Over the next year we are conducting the definitive investigation into blockchain strategies, use-cases, market opportunities, and implementation challenges. The $multi-million program will include several dozen research projects, conducted by experts across nine industries, including Financial Services, Government, and Healthcare. We’ll also explore how blockchain changes the way we manage our institutions and organize capability in the economy.

Don Tapscott is a media theorist and bestselling author of 16 books about the impact of technology on business and society. Alex Tapscott is the Founder and CEO of NextBlock, an investment firm specializing in blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Job Description

  • Managing all social media and posting platforms
  • Generation of related content for platforms
  • Design and implement paid campaigns
  • Create Analytics reports and online assessments
  • Creation and curation of webinars and podcasts
  • General management of brand image, brand awareness, and overall growth
  • Management of all social media marketing efforts; strategy, community management, and analytics reporting across all channels
  • Content generation for blog, newsletter, and social media channels for all platforms
  • Design and implement paid campaigns across adwords and social channels
  • Creation and curation of webinars and podcasts
  • PR opportunities research and outreach
  • Strategy and management of Influencer marketing strategic partnerships
  • Event marketing strategy and management

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in Digital Marketing and/or Communications
  • Knowledge of all social platforms and their uses for enterprise – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Medium, various podcast platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO, google adwords, and analytics platforms
  • Experience in online advertising and execution of paid campaigns
  • Experience in government or a large private firm is considered an asset
  • Experience with complex
  • Experience with branding for Public Figures considered an asset
  • Contacts/connections in tech, government, or media considered an asset

Term: 3 month trial period followed by permanent employment. Compensation will be based on experience.
