Opportunity: The Product Manager will be responsible ensuring successful development and delivery of clinical platforms to support the Teladoc Health portfolio of products. Initial focus will involve owning the analysis, coordination and delivery of clinical platforms and technologies for use within Teladoc’s Primary Care solution. The Product Manager will effectively act as the intersection between business, technology and clinical user experience, and play a key role in the development and execution of Teladoc Health’s product and clinical technology strategy.

Reporting to senior members of Product Management, the Product Manager is a crucial position on the Product team and is a key player in the successful development and delivery of Teladoc Health’s products.

Responsibilities: Collect and analyze usability studies, market research, and user feedback to identify and recommend product enhancements and market opportunities to build platform and tooling enhancements that drive effective clinical workflows and outcomes. In collaboration with the Senior Product Leader, facilitate cross functional requirements gathering and design sessions, including Clinical, Operations, Product, IT/Engineering and Information Management stakeholders. Complete product documentation and summary material, including workflow diagrams and product guides Communicate progress on initiatives to various levels of the organization, including timelines, progress reports, status tracking, risk analysis and release notes Work closely with the Product Management team and stakeholders to understand and fulfill the product vision and roadmap Manage key project risks and issues, including appropriate escalation to Product Manager and Executive sponsors as needed Work collaboratively with the appropriate Clinical, Business and/or IT leads to track implementation (including UAT, Deployment, sign-off of documentation, etc) of requirements If and when business ownership “gaps” are identified, this role may be asked to fill those gaps until the correct business owner can be identified and trained Proactively manage and prioritize the product backlog, release plans, and sprint backlogs according to business value, complexity, and expectations Support internal departments such as sales, client management, clinical operations, operations enablement, and marketing with necessary product knowledge Keep stakeholders involved by gathering input and communicating progress; demo incremental functionality internally to impacted areas Lead build vs buy decisions and identify and evaluate vendors to meet clinical tooling needs when necessary, including creating and facilitating structured RFI/RFPs. Establish KPIs to track and measure product success, clinical efficiency, and future development opportunities Support other large scale Product Development activities, as directed by the senior team

Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Business or equivalent 3+ years’ Healthcare IT work experience required Previous success working in a hospital IT or other clinical setting managing clinical systems Previous success in working with an Agile software development team Previous success in product management or related experience in healthcare, with technology enabled services a plus Experience working with clinical interoperability standards such as HL7, XDS, Direct Secure Messaging, and FHIR Experience working with enterprise EHRs, Care Management, Population Health Management, Clinical Decision Support, and/or Clinical Analytics/Informatics tools strongly preferred Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, Confluence Experience working with remote teams Expertise in relevant business software (PPT, Microsoft Access, MS project, Visio) Exceptional written and oral interpersonal communication skills. Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skill; Project Management experience preferred Direct hands on experience with writing user stories, grooming backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements. Strong customer/end user orientation, with a data driven decision making approach Ability to translate metrics into business decisions of importance and priorities Comfortable with change and uncertainty Comfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in the organization
