Propane seeks an inspired and seasoned Project Manager to oversee the management of complex digital projects, act as project steward from requirements through deployment, and serve as both a client conduit and an internal project lead.
Responsibilities
- Work with the clients, teams and partners to perform project scoping, scheduling and estimates
- Create/maintain a project timeline, release schedule and status sheet, and organize daily meetings/updates
- Drive deliverables through all phases of strategy, UX, design, development, QA and deployment
- Ensure that all needed tasks, assets and resources are identified to successfully meet client expectations
- Translate business and technical requirements into documentation for development
- Translate development releases into release notes
- Manage vendor relationships with the creation of RFPs, solicitation of vendor bids, negotiate services and fees
- Manage the effective use of internal and client status meetings
- Manage and control project scope and the change control process
- Manage client relationship and expectations; in partnership with a product manager and account manager
- Manage a complex client engagement across multiple business groups such as marketing, product and IT
- Manage the development, production, QA testing and delivery of digital programs and platforms, including large scale site design and development
- Coordinate with leadership team and other project managers in the efficient utilization of resources
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in a digital agency environment
- Strong, recent experience in and comprehensive knowledge of web development projects and content management systems
- Solid understanding of project management methodology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented
- Strong issue and risk management
- Experience with Agile
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
- Bachelor's degree required
- Software and enterprise application development experience a plus
- Certification a plus
