ABOUT THE ROLE
Kyra & Vir is now accepting applications for talented Sales Interns to work on our Summer 2018 season. Interns will deploy Kyra & Vir’s will be at the center of operations and sales and learn the ins and outs of customer service and sales. Their work will support a range of initiatives, working directly with our clients and customers, as well as the product design team. Must be a highly dependable self-starter with strong attention to detail. The internship will provide hands-on experience as well as exposure to the inner-workings of a global fashion startup.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Learn product knowledge of Indian fashion and be able to relay that expertise to inquiring customers. • Become affluent in Shopify, Intercom, and internal dashboards in order to interact with customers and complete sales • Learn how to create a product checklist and use your learned product knowledge of Indian fashion to help complete orders. • Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service that will convert to sales. • Attend internal and external meetings, as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Suite • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Strong written skills • Ability to learn and wear multiple hats as this is a startup environment • Self-starter who is able to complete work with limited oversight • Must be pursuing a degree in business, communication, or a closely related field • Knowledge of, or strong interest in, the realms of fashion, Indian culture, civic engagement, and social responsibility. • Must commit to a 15 hour/week schedule for a minimum of 3 months. • Must be able to begin Internship in May or June
