We are seeking to add to our team a person who can ensure timely responses and follow through with customers requesting service to and for products installed by our company. Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm
Areas of Responsibilities include:
• Review incoming requests for warranties, and investigate customers’ projects and their histories.
• Respond to customers’ queries and concerns regarding damaged products and validate warranty claims, verifying damage and causes.
• Research parts and services required.
• Review customer project profiles to determine purchase and warranty timelines.
• Analyze warranty reports on a regular basis, ensuring complaint details are properly looked into and documented.
• Summarize and analyze warranty claims and labor hour reports on a regular basis, aimed at ensuring that management review is done on time.
• Work with accounting personnel to request warranty charge numbers, and provide approvals for payments.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to determine the cause of product malfunction, focusing on ensuring that similar incidents do not transpire in the future.
• Schedule technicians to go to job sites and provide warranty services.
Requirements:
• Proven organizational skills; ability to prioritize workload.
• 3-5 years of experience investigating customers/claims is preferred.
• Ability to communication effectively via phone, text and email in a consistently professional and timely manner.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to comfortably use the calendaring feature in Outlook.
• Proven ability to effectively research issues and seek out relevant information to resolve those issues.
• Able to discuss fees for service with customers in a positive, professional manner.
• Able to manage complex issues. Must be able to effectively ask the right questions and drill down on root causes to determine the best course of action.
• Understand different personalities and help them accordingly, patiently assist customers.
• Experience in a construction environment or organization is helpful.
• High school diploma.
• Post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check required
• Post-offer, pre-employment drug test, including for marijuana, required
Salary: $15.00 - $18.00/hour, dependent upon experience
