Hello All! Hope everyone is doing well. I found a very interesting role at Facebook on their Product and Service Operations team. Does anyone here have any contacts for this team or the Facebook Austin team in general? Thank you for your help!

Good morning Austin club! We've got our first official event scheduled in celebration of HireClub's 8 year anniversary next week - Wednesday, 3/28.
You'll meet some pretty fun folks in Austin in a casual networking atmosphere, no awkward pitches or clammy handshakes. Not only that, you can enjoy an awesome happy hour w/ views and fire pits.Bring a friend, a colleague or even your furry friend who can enjoy the patio :)

Austin HireClub friends - amidst SXSW craziness this week, it's a good time to kick off our first informal HireClub event! Thursday, March 15 at 6PM at St. Elmos Brewing as part of their Grassy Thursday live music ((http://www.stelmobrewing.com/new-events/2018/3/15/grassy-thursday). This will be an informal get together so we can meet, chat and drink beer. Reply below or message me so I can get a headcount, hope to see you there!

Hi Hireclub Austin! My name is Silva, and I'm the new moderator for the Austin forum - I'm a product manager at Dell by day, entrepreneur in the hospitality space by night. Very much looking forward to connecting with you. As Austin tech keeps growing, I hope we can use this forum as a place to share events, jobs and career related discussions with your fellow Austinites. Please keep the community rules in mind, and let me know if you have any questions.

Joanna Widjaja Silva, That's great! I am at VMware here in Austin. Love to connect with you and the rest of the Austinites here. Thanks for contributing your time to this cause!
· 2 · ReplyKetan Anjaria Woot! love to see HireClub Austin getting started! Too crazy to plan something for SXSW?
· 1 · ReplyLisa Maria I know both Silva and Joanna from when I lived in Austin (Hook 'em!). Great to see familiar names connected! Austin is crazy during SXSW but I think it's a good opportunity to connect both with local HireClub members and potentially members from other cities visiting for the week!
· ReplySilva Gentchev Hey Joanna! Thanks, yeah I think can definitely do something around SXSW. I'm actually there all week as part of interactive, but we can scope out some of the larger free events and tag on, or just meet somewhere downtown.
· ReplyJoanna Widjaja Hey Silva, what do you think of this Thursday at St Elmo brewery for happy hour.
· 1 · ReplySilva Gentchev Hey Joanna! Good idea, they don't have any SXSW events on Thursday (only Friday), but we can check out the Grassy Thursday music after 6. (http://www.stelmobrewing.com/new-events/2018/3/15/grassy-thursday)

Hello All,
I recently moved to Austin after over a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am actively looking for Senior Marketing Manager roles preferably in tech in and around the Austin area. Thank you for any help or a point in the right direction that you can possibly provide. Best Wishes
