This week's guest is Yue Xu! She's had me twice on her podcast so figured it's time to have her own!
We'll post the livestream in the main group feed!
Yue Xu is a media personality, the host of the Date/able podcast, and runs a production company in SF. Having left her 9-5 during her Quarterlife Crisis (yes it's real), she never looked back. Since then, she's created opportunities for herself that have allowed her to travel the world, set her own hours, and push her limits. Everyday is a challenge but also extremely rewarding. If you've ever considered a freelance career or breaking free of a corporate job, Yue will provide you with a list of things to consider when going off on your own.
Yue has appeared on networks such as AMC, MTV, Nickelodeon and Discovery. She's the US host for popular UK tech series "The Gadget Show" and recently was a pit lane reporter for FIA Formula E, electric street racing, in Hong Kong. Yue also hosts the Date/able podcast, produced by Julie Krafchick, a show that explores the world of modern dating with technology. Cited as one of the "Top 10 Dating Podcasts" by Huffington Post, the podcast helps daters navigate modern romance through real stories from real people.
As the founder of Cult Media Online, a production company based in SF, Yue not only helps companies produce effective marketing videos, but she also uses her media experience to train founders and executives on their on-camera strategy.
