The last year under Covid has been challenging for pretty much everyone - including HireClub. On top of that our entire team has turned over in the last few months, we went from 7 employees to just one, me.
On October 11, 2021 HireClub filed for Chapter 11, Subsection 5 bankruptcy to restructure the business and create growth in the future.
Chapter 11, Subsection 5 means our plan is to restructure the business so we can continue to serve you.
What does this mean for customers?
There is no change at all for customers. The status quo will remain the same. We will continue to help you grow your careers with your coaches and help find that next job. You can continue to subscribe, book sessions and work with your coach.
In fact we broke new records in October with over 1350 five star reviews now and our highest salary negotiation ever at an $200,000 offer increase.
We’ve also recently hired Nina Mendez for Customer Support, she’s been incredible in helping customers get their issues resolved quickly.

What does this mean for coaches?
Coaches were already notified and I want to thank them all for their support. We will continue to pay, support and bring on new coaches. We’re actually bringing on 100 new coaches in the next 3 months due to demand. We already have a waitlist of 750 coaches who have applied.
We have also hired Diantha Boardman to serve as our new Director of Coaching and grow our coach community. We had our first C3 (Coaches Coaching Coaches) session with her leadership today and it was fantastic to reconnect with our coaching community.
What does this mean for the future?
We’re becoming more streamlined. We’re tightening up and improving our processes and coaching. I’ve been in talks with many of you, and your feedback and support has been incredible. Early next year we also plan to complete the transition from HireClub to CareerClub which will further enhance our growth and revenue.
