——— COACHING WITH SAM ———
My approach is goal-oriented. I employ honesty, grit, empathy, a teachable heart and laughter during sessions. Many people come to me asking me how I manage to do many things in a short span of time, and I say to them "SMART goals!"...
If you would like to work with me, I recommend:
Brainstorming 1-3 topics you would like to work through during our session: this will serve as a guide for our time together. I will make sure that we utilize our session wisely and try my best to cover as much as possible.
Staying flexible and open to new ideas: I'm here to tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. I regularly converse with recruiters who inform me of hiring trends; I use that data to make suggestions and drive action. I ask for permission to listen actively, ask difficult questions, interrupt you, cheer you on you, challenge you, grow with you and learn with you.
Remembering that this is your journey: consistency + duration = impact. By being diligent about taking down notes, planning ahead and asking clarifying questions, you will walk away with some SMART goals to implement (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-sensitive).
